Shelves

Since we are off the room swag here, this is a project that my parent did over the weekend. They like every other parent are somewhat of hoarders. They had things all over the garage, like ALL OVER! So my siblings and I pressured them to do something about it.

They made these really cool shelves,  that really helped clean some of the clutter.

My dad bought some nice sturdy plywood and boards, cut them and mounted them. Soo easy!!

I know this is probably irrelevant but NO, NOT REALLY!!!

The great thing about these shelves is that you can do them everywhere, in a smaller size of course. Need more space, well build some shelves. We did this same process in our towel closet to give more storage space, any regular closet would be great too!! Tray it see how it works for you!!

Bathroom Time

Getting away from the actual bedroom for a little yesterday I went crazy and re-did my bedroom’s restroom. This are some things that are fun and affordable.
I bought mostly everything I needed at Target!! ( yayy, I love that store)
Shower curtain, curtain rod, soap dispenser, toothbrush holder, just about everything!!
I got some light gray paint to go with he New York theme I was going for and to finish it off.

I went to Hobby Lobby and found some wall art with the same theme, I was surprised there isn’t a lot more!!

So I ended up printing out some old New York pictures and framing them to bring it more to life.

Now I am totally IN LOVE with my restroom!!! (for now)

Pretty in Pink Perfume Stand!!!

I know some of you also would like to display your perfumes…..well I also have a good idea for all of you folks.  I saw this on Youtube, and though it’d be fun to do. All you need it three silver platters from the Dollar Tree, and two candle stick holders. You will then hot glue, super glue, any kind of glue that is going to give it a strong support, ( not Elmer’s glue).  Glue them together staking them on top on one another in the desired way you’d like and let it dry for 24 hours.
(excuse all my Harry Potter movies in the background)

If you want to go even further in making you room pop, you can spray paint the stand in whatever color you’d like, ( I’d recommend you to do this step before gluing them together that way you don’t worry about mixing colors on your items)
